Aretta

/ah-reh-tah/
noun

Derived from the ancient Greek concept of arete, meaning excellence and the reaching of one's fullest potential. It is not a fixed destination. It is a direction, a commitment to doing the work at the highest level it can be done.

At Studio Aretta, that philosophy sits at the heart of every project. Because the work you do deserves a brand that reflects its true calibre.

Who does Studio Aretta work with?

I work with wedding professionals who are already doing extraordinary work. Photographers, florists, planners, venue owners, and makers who have built their reputation quietly and carefully, almost entirely on talent and word of mouth.

The gap I keep seeing is not one of quality. It is one of presentation. The work is exceptional. The brand has not caught up.

That is the gap I close. Not by making things look prettier, but by building something with genuine strategy behind it. A brand and website that positions you as the premium choice before anyone has even reached out.

How every project is built

The Aretta Method

Every Studio Aretta project is built around what I think of as The Aretta Method. Not a formula, not a template. A way of working that puts story, strategy, and style together from the very beginning, making sure everything is built to last.

  • Every project begins with understanding.

Before design begins, we take time to uncover the foundations of your brand: your values, your audience, your positioning, and the direction your business is moving towards.

This stage creates clarity. It ensures that the design which follows is not only beautiful, but genuinely aligned with the work you do and the clients you want to attract.

  • Once the foundations are clear, we refine the narrative.

This stage shapes how your brand communicates visually and verbally. Messaging becomes clearer, positioning becomes stronger, and the story your brand tells begins to take form.

Refinement ensures that every element of the design supports the same message and intention.

  • Your website is more than a collection of pages. It is an experience.

During this stage, structure and user journey take priority. We carefully consider how visitors move through your site, what information they encounter first, and how trust is built along the way.

The goal is a digital experience that feels intuitive, purposeful, and effortless to navigate.

  • With strategy and structure in place, design begins to elevate the brand.

Typography, layout, imagery, and visual details come together to create a refined and cohesive identity that reflects the level your business is operating at today.

This is where clarity becomes presence.

  • Behind every beautiful website sits careful technical testing.

Performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and functionality are all considered to ensure your website works as seamlessly as it looks.

Design should not only be visually strong. It should also support the practical needs of your business.

  • The final stage is launch and integration.

Your new brand and website become a clear, confident foundation for the next chapter of your business. You leave with a digital presence that feels aligned, intentional, and ready to support your continued growth.

Because the best design does not simply impress.
    It creates lasting clarity.

Meet Amy

A woman with glasses and long hair sitting at a desk with a keyboard in front of her, looking up at the camera in a room with bookshelves in the background.

Welcome, my name is Amy,

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet balance between creativity and structure.

Before Studio Aretta, that curiosity showed up in many forms: photography, design, crafting, and an enduring love of literature. I’m fascinated by the way stories are built, how ideas become narratives, and how structure allows meaning to unfold.

Over time, that fascination naturally extended into branding and website design.

A brand, after all, is a story being told in visual form. A website is the place where that story plays out, guiding visitors through a journey of understanding, trust, and connection.

Studio Aretta grew from the belief that design should do exactly that: transform complex ideas into clear, elegant digital experiences that feel both intentional and intuitive.

  • One thing that really stood out was Amy’s internal platform for managing the project. It made the entire process incredibly seamless having everything was organised in one place, making it really easy to communicate, review progress and request any adjustments along the way. As a busy business owner, having that clear and simple system made a huge difference.

  • Amy's creativity and professionalism shone through the whole process. She understood the essence and ethos of the business, gently steering me to imagery, fonts and text that were more aligned with this. I recommend her highly to anyone looking for an inspirational, reliable and talented web designer.

  • Amy didn't just deliver what was asked - she proactively flagged ideas and observations about how things could be improved. That kind of thoughtful, solutions-focused approach is rare and incredibly valuable
