For wedding pros who are ready for more

Meet the brand and web designer behind Studio Aretta

The portfolio shows what's possible. This page is about the designer who makes that magic happen.

The enquiries are coming in but not always from the right people.

The venues you want to approach feel slightly out of reach.

You send someone to your website and feel that small flash of dread, or it is embarrassment?

You know the work is there. The brand just isn't saying so yet.

The long way around was worth it

If you're a bit nosey and wonder what on earth I was doing before this, here we go.

It all started out with my photography degree, where my many childhood years of crafting and poring over design got channelled into creating beautiful images. To keep myself afloat during my studies I took up wedding photography.

Early mornings, late nights, and travelling the length and breadth of Devon and Cornwall - by the time I finished university, I knew a life behind the camera wasn't for me.

Then began my eleven year foray into corporate operational management (it's as exciting as it sounds). Despite the burnout and pressure that comes with leading a large team, I did learn a hell of a lot from that job.

What you end up with is a designer who understands your industry from the inside, and who can manage complex projects with her eyes closed.

Aretta

/ah-reh-tah/
noun

Derived from the ancient Greek concept of arete, meaning excellence and the reaching of one's fullest potential. It is not a fixed destination. It is a direction, a commitment to doing the work at the highest level it can be done.

At Studio Aretta, that philosophy sits at the heart of every project - because the work you do deserves brand and web design that reflects its true calibre.

What goes on behind the scenes

The Studio Aretta Approach

nº.01

Story.

Before anything is designed, I need to understand your business at the level you understand it. Your history, your goals, where you want to go, the feeling you want to create, and the people you want to attract. All of that informs every decision that follows. Without it, the design is just decoration.

nº.02

Strategy.

The wedding industry is crowded. A generic brief produces a generic result - and a generic result doesn't attract the clients you actually want. Strategy is what ensures your brand stands out for the right reasons, speaks to the right people, and gives you a genuine differentiator in a market full of talented professionals doing similar work.

nº.03

Style.

The visual work comes last, and it's rooted in you - not in what you've seen elsewhere, not in what's trending this season. Inspiration is useful. But what lasts is a brand that feels unmistakably like yours. One that attracts your ideal client because it reflects exactly who you are and what you do, not who someone else is.

Life gets good when your brand finally catches up with your work.

The joy of aligned enquiries.

The confidence to increase your prices.

The opportunities you've been hesitating over, finally within reach.

  • "Amy completely understood my vision. She has a real talent for listening, asking the right questions and creating a brand that genuinely feels like me. She hasn't just created a beautiful brand — she has helped me gain so much more confidence in my business and the direction I want to take it."

when I'm not at the desk

A few things that make me, me.

Book obsessed since day one. The Lord of the Rings are my favourite books/films of all time. I recently saw all three films being played at the Royal Albert Hall (with the soundtrack being played live) and it was the best weekend of my life.

Avid crafter, my current obsessions being crochet and embroidery. All of my friends receive crafted gifts (especially if they’ve had a baby).

Dog mum to this adorable beast. She’s somewhat unhinged but utterly loved. This is Zenna and she’s an Irish Doodle (Irish Setter x Poodle).

Long-time lover of a good old strawberry farm!
